DAF and us.

DAF groupies

Seriously, you must be kidding. A whole company of testosterone ridden young men out on their own in a convoy of classic cars? A recipe for disaster I tell you, an accident waiting to happen.

Yet this was exactly what 3Dimerce decided to organize for the company outing that accompanied the presentation of the new medium term strategy. Balls of steel.

In retrospect, everything turned out fine. We had a hell of a fun day. We not only raced with DAFs, but also visited an ostrich farm (I like them better on my plate), climbed an old wind mill (very impressive craftmanship), and held a BBQ to top it off (ah, the ostrich again). Best of all, no one got hurt, and almost nothing got broken. I say we should up the ante for our outings to come a little. Something on a real race track perhaps?

But Gray very clearly explains what creativity is, what games are, and how these can work together in a Gamestorm. It absolutely makes sene. Enjoy.

Unlikely business guru’s

The A-team

Think like…  The A-team.

An office favorite from British Airways’ in-flight magazine Business:life. The think like… series gives you business tips from unlikely guru’s. In this earlier edition, the business tactics of the legendary A-team…

“[...] they are a very efficient business. With clearly defined roles and personalities, the A-Team gets on and does things. Everyone knows his place and, most importantly, there’s a plan — a plan that usually comes together within the allotted timeframe and is celebrated, in old school fashion, with a cigar.”
