Computer generated video with 3D imaging
T-Mobile’s request to show the new G1 device in a similar style as the previous Nokia 6650 computer generated video gave OneShot a real chance to shine. We were able to re-use many elements from the existing Master file of our earlier 3D imaging animation film, allowing fast production turnaround at a low cost. This allowed us to invest more time in bringing the new and highly interactive Android™ software and Google™ applications to life on the virtual product model of T-Mobile’s new flagship phone, the T-Mobile G1.
Additional challenges came from the third party in the project, Google™. Their branding requirements and level of involvement were understandably high, and the product still very secret. OneShot always welcomes brand involvement, to ensure the highest quality communication and perfect on-brand 3D imaging for your products.
3d imaging for product launch
After the success of the animation video with 3D imaging we did for the Nokia 6650, T-Mobile asked us to do a similar computer generated video for their new flagship phone, the T-Mobile G1. The G1 was the world’s first ever Google™ Android™ phone.
The new product film with 3D imaging was such a hit that it was also used at the G1 product launch in Hamburg!
