What are Packshots? 3D product packshots
The word Packshots (or Pack Shots) is typically used for a still images or photographs of a product. Usually a packshot includes the packaging and labeling of a product used to highlight a product’s reputation in advertisements or other (printed) media. Packshots are an important stimulus to sales with the main target of triggering in-store and on-shelf product recognition. The term packshot also refers to product placement in a television show or in film and movies. In TV commercials packshots normally absorb in average 4 seconds of playing time in a typical 30 seconds commercial., again to trigger the eventual in-store recognition.

How can packshots be created?
Packshots can be created using the traditional way of product photography. Packshots can range from a simple product photograph on a white background to complete scenes with the use of props or within a special environment.
