The preparation for this product launch revealed shortcomings of the normal approach to creating the product marketing materials and packshots that Vogel’s were accustomed to. Because the moldings for the product were still being developed and no physical product was therefore available, it was impossible to create the required product marketing materials and packshots in the traditional way.
After creating the OneShot Source from the available CAD data, we were able to pick up the baton that was dropped by others and quickly turn out these packshots that were used for print and online.
Packshots with 3D marketing
The TwistDock PS3 is the launching product of a whole new Vogel’s product line for the gaming market. This new product line saw Vogel’s face new challenges for especially the online presentation of the product, that requires a different approach and a much more interactive and visual presentation than the rest of their more traditional product range.
3Dimerce came in with OneShot and saved the day, producing packshots for the product launch and printed materials such as the user manual, video footage of the product, and also an online interactive product demo.
